Welcome to SCV Pet Services ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the pet-care services we provide in and around Sunland, California, including long-term boarding, in-house and in-home dog training, overnight stays, dog walking, and dog sitting (collectively, the "Services"). By booking or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking & Reservations
All Services are scheduled by appointment and are subject to availability. A reservation is confirmed only once we have acknowledged it in writing (by email or text). You are responsible for providing accurate information about your dog, including breed, age, health conditions, behavioral notes, and emergency contacts.
2. Health & Vaccinations
For the safety of all animals in our care, your dog must be in good health and current on core vaccinations (including rabies) as required by California law. We may request proof of vaccination. Dogs showing signs of contagious illness, parasites, or aggression may be declined or sent home, and you remain responsible for any applicable fees.
3. Owner Responsibilities
- Disclose any history of aggression, biting, anxiety, or medical conditions.
- Provide sufficient food, medication, and supplies for boarding or overnight stays unless otherwise arranged.
- Ensure your dog is properly licensed where required.
- Maintain reachable emergency contact information for the duration of any Service.
4. Veterinary Care & Emergencies
If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and your designated veterinarian. If you cannot be reached, you authorize us to seek emergency veterinary care, and you agree to be responsible for all associated costs.
5. Payment
Fees are quoted at the time of booking. Payment terms, deposits, and accepted methods will be communicated when your reservation is confirmed. Late or unpaid balances may result in suspension of Services.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Liability
We care for every dog as if it were our own and follow reasonable safety practices. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, SCV Pet Services is not liable for injury, illness, escape, loss, or death of an animal except in cases of our gross negligence or willful misconduct. You agree to be responsible for any property damage or injury to people or other animals caused by your dog.
8. Photos & Media
We may take photos or videos of your dog during Services and use them for updates to you and, occasionally, for promotional purposes. Let us know in writing if you prefer that we not use your dog's images publicly.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current version, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
